Membership in the Business Club

Joining the Club

Please fill out the below form and make payment of $15 yearly dues (see below) to join the Busienss Club.

Payment of $15 in yearly dues must be made within two weeks of completing the above form. Payment may be made in cash or check (made out to "University of Scranton") and deposited in the Business Club's mailbox in Brennan Hall 3rd Floor, Management/Marketing suite.

Active Member Status

To be considered an active member, you must have met the following requirements by the end of the academic year:

• Attended at least 2 (two) Business Club meetings
• Participated in at least 1 (one) Business Club service project
• Be paid-in-full with respect to dues and any other payments to the Business Club

Why do we have these requirements, you might ask? There are two reasons: (We don't mean to be arbitrary!)

1. We want to encourage active membership to make the club more effective in serving the student population.
2. Student Governement bases their funding and charter requirements off of our active membership base, and therefore requires us to keep an accurate count.

Leadership Opportunities

While we hold yearly elections for officer and board positions in November, we accept applications for "Student Representative" positions year-round. If you are interested in applying, or have any other questions about a leadership capacity, please contact the Business Club Secretary.

In order to serve on the Business Club Board (including as an officer), you must have previously volunteered with the Business Club in the same academic year. For any clarifications on this policy, please contact the Business Club Secretary.
